American Romanticism

2. in the story rip van winkle i found two examples of romanticism. one is that he feel asleep for 20 years. its kind of crazy to sleep for 20years with out waking up.to rip van wrinkle is that he was only sleep for one night but it was 20years. "Rip’s story was soon told, for the whole twenty long years had been lost to him but only one night". and another example of romanticism is whenhis heart died."Rip’s heart died away at hearing of these sad changes in his home and
friends, and finding himself thus alone in the world."



3.its about a this person scared to die. so he went to ask mother natural and she told him that is nothing to be scared of and when he did the same thing gone happen to him like it would happen to a king nothing different gone happen to him.when u die you will have more company in the ground then when u was alive.



The Ropewalk
the point of the poem is that rope can bring happiness and saddness. the rope brings joy to the little boy with the kite and its brings sadness to the prisoner thats bout to be hanged.the part that stands out to me is that the man looking at the rope before he dies and the lilttle boy with the kite.rope walk its a good example of Romanticism cause the man in the factory is imaging all that stuff happening
