The Puritans

The puritans had crazy briefs. they said everybody was born a sinner. They also said God only save. they said everybody else was going to hell. And There was no way to earn the Grace of God.all sinners in the hand of god should go to hell. and hell is right below us. the rationalist believed that human society run on natural laws. if people know these laws they could improve there lives.

Plymouth Plantation:

They where poor people who came to America for a new life. when they got here they were lonely and they had no home. they was unsure what to do when they got there. they would seen Indians and when they tired to talk to them the Indians would run in to they wood. they people did not really have nothing. no food no shelter. and plus they were not use to the weather. half of the 100 people dies cause of falling sick. they one who were not sick helped take care of the sick ones

Sinners in the hands of god

the Puritans believe that we stand in the hand of god over hells pits. to you believe in Christ you ain't nothing to god. and god wrath never stops like a river. and no matter what everybody going to hell. Jesus only died for a few. they believe there is nothing between you and hell but air and gods hand. gods hand is the only reason you ain't fell to hell.





Unconditional Election

god only save a few. i seen this in sinners in the hand of god. if you did not believe in Christ you would feel gods wrath. and that he holds you up from falling to hell. and god only saves those who he wishes.... " Jesus did not die for all "





Total Depravity

they believe that everybody was born a sinner and they all was going to hell.

"the puritans believed after adam and eve fall everybody esle was born a sinner"


the Rationalists

they difference between puritans and rationalist is that puritans believe that god is responible for everything. and Rationalist believe things were ran by natural law.

examples of the difference is evolution. purtians whould say evolution happened cause god want it to . the Rationalist would say the animal had to adapt to its surrounding.

Ben Franklin improved his life like a rationalist. He did not ask god to help him with his life he did it his self. he took data and he mad a list of stuff to improve his life. " i made a lil book , in which i allotted a page for each of the virtues."
